Mason Lecklider: OF/RHP, (2024) Miami East, OH. 5-foot-10, 150-pound lean frame. (61.1 mph bat speed average). (17.7 mph hand speed average). Began in an athletic stance with a controlled active load, then used a short toe tap stride. Bat speed was quick efficient, showed a short uphill swing plane and high finish. Found lots of barrels with loud contacts. Aggressive tough out approach. Capable from the outfield, he displayed a position velocity of 74 mph; had consistent footwork, sure hands, and a clean exchange. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball to the side. Used a short arm action and a ¾ slot while showing some accuracy to the bag. Capable on the mound, showing quick developing arm speed he used a short arm action with a high ¾ arm angle. Tall-and-fall type pitcher and uses decent effort. Balance point is tall with an in line shoulders during delivery. Lands square with an athletic balanced finish. Has some command and tailing action with straight movement. (Max spin 2031; Avg 1898).
