5-foot-11, 175-pound athletic prospect. Lettered for Big Walnut last spring as a freshman (they made it to the state final 4). First thing that sticks out is his arm strength. He topped at 85 mph across the diamond - and the ball had carry to it. His actions play well for the left side of the infield. Creates good angles and keeps his feet moving. Hands show softness and ability to cleanly receive the baseball. Always creating momentum towards first base. Transfer is quick and ball comes out with short arm action from a high ¾ slot. At the plate the righty has a fast bat that works on a level plane. Creates efficient energy with his lower half and consistently made hard contact in batting practice. Has the look of a hitter that could fit anywhere in the lineup.
