A right-handed bat that starts in a balanced stance. Uses a leg kick for timing while keeping hands simple prior to launch. Swing has intent on a slightly downhill path, offering more strength than speed to hands presently. Ball comes off well, generating regular backspin and gap pop. Middle of the lineup type. In the infield he plays with quiet feet and low through fielding. Attacks the ball linearly off the bat. Ball skills are on par for class. Second baseman type. Two-way prospect. Rolls through delivery on the bump with a slower paced tempo. Shows long back arm action with some stiffness in the back prior to coming through a high-¾ slot. Ball comes out without a ton of effort. Fastball will stay mostly true through the zone sitting 69-72 mph. Slider isn’t a big breaker but has enough depth and action to miss barrels at 67-68 mph. Also tosses a curveball with big, gradual action on an 11/5 plane at 61-64 mph.
