Max Atkinson: C/OF, (2022) Taylor, OH. 6-foot, 200-pound. At the plate, Atkinson had an exit velocity of 91 mph. Began in a balanced tall stance with a controlled load, then used a small leg kick stride. Bat speed was quick, displayed a simple upward swing plane and good extension on his finish. While catching, he made throws to second at velocities up to 69 mph; showed sure hands, a natural exchange, and consistent feet. showed his ability to throw runners out with an efficient pop time of 1.96-2.12. Some flexibility and calm setup. Showed a high ¾ slot with a quick arm action. Clocked a 60 time of 7.56 at the event. .
Max Atkinson: C/OF, (2022) Taylor, OH. 6-foot, 200-pound physical frame. At the plate, Atkinson's best exit velocity was 89 mph. Begins in an athletic stance with a quick load, then uses a leg kick. Bat speed was average, and showed an upward swing plane. Laterally, his movements were average. Behind the plate, his best position velocity throwing to second was registered at 72 mph; has a clean developing exchange, average feet, and sure hands. Had consistent pop times of 2.28-2.35. Some flexibility and clean setup.

Body Type: 5-foot-11, 182.5-pound physical frame.
Swing Mechanics: Simple load with minimal movements. Hands stay loose and loaded through contact.
Hit: Downhill bat path with a pull side approach. Works inside the baseball well, and produces backspin to the middle part of the field.
Power: Line drive guy that flashed gap pop. 77.8 MPH off the bat in BP.
Offensive Projection: Middle potential. Some strength in there for sure.
Field: Has quick feet and a smooth transfer. Good receiving skills for his class with blocking skills that are developing. In the outfield he plays with controlled tempo that he maintains throughout sequence. Ball skills appear to be on par for class.
Throw: Has developing arm strength with short and compact action.
Defensive Projection: C/OF.
Body type: 5-foot-11, 182-pound athletic frame.
Swing mechanics: Simple compact swing. Minimal movement that allows him to barrel up a lot of balls.
Hit: Level bat path with natural ball flight to the middle part of the field.
Power: Line drive guy who flashes pop to the middle of the field, but more juice to come as he develops.
Offensive projection: TBD
Field: Athletic stance with a smooth transfer.
Throw: Developing arm strength with loose arm action.
Defensive Projection: UTL.
