Physical bat with a run producer profile from the left side. Everything is smooth, easy and controlled. Caught barrel after barrel in BP, showing easy/mid 90s jump. Very solid round/one of the better ones we saw from Team Ohio. Defensively how arm develops will likely determine future destination as he's continuously progressed ball skills wise and his 6.8 speed is impressive considering how physical he is.
Max Palinski: OF/OF, (2023) St. Ignatius, OH. 6-foot-2, 215-pound. Athletic during batting practice, Palinski had an exit velocity of 90 mph. Begins in a balanced athletic stance with a smooth controlled load, then uses a small leg kick. Had quick bat speed. Found multiple barrels with loud contact. Solid in the outfield, he showed the ability to make throws to the bases at 79 mph; showed a natural packing exchange, soft hands, and consistent feet. Uses his glove out front. Displayed speed and athleticism at the event, recording a 60 time of 6.96.
Max Palinski: OF/OF, (2023) St. Ignatius, OH. 6-foot-2, 210-pound physical frame. At the plate, Palinski had an exit velocity of 90 mph. Begins in a balanced stance with a smooth load, then uses a leg kick. Bat speed was quick, and had an upward swing plane. Smooth in the outfield, he showed the ability to make throws to the bases at 82 mph; has smooth consistent feet, a clean exchange, and soft hands. Fields the ball one hand, movements laterally were athletic. Recorded a 60 time of 7.01 at the event.
Hit: Physical presence in the box from the left side. Smooth stroke and his natural tools allow him to generate easy juice. Stays inside the baseball nicely so everything is spun true line to line. High follow in class.
Power: Advanced strength with above average bat speed.
Offensive Projection: Run producer.
Max BP Exit Velocity: 90mph.
Max BP Distance: 306ft.
Field: Corner skill set in the outfield. Smoother actions with sure-handed ball skills.
Throw: Present accuracy with serviceable strength.

Hit: At the plate Palinski shows a balanced setup and has an on plane bat path for the most part. Very physical and mature for his class.
Power: 81 mph exit velocity.
Offensive Projection: TBD
Field: In the outfield Palinski showed average feet and instincts.
Throw: 78 mph from the outfield.
Defensive Projection: Corner OF
Body Type: 5-foot-10, 178-pound athletic frame.
Swing Mechanics: A left-handed hitter that starts in a balanced stance. Uses a slight back load during his short stride.
Hit: Physical bat with some hand speed. Path is slightly downhill with feel for contact. Sprayed line drives all over the yard in BP. Good athlete.
Power: Gap abilities.
Offensive Projection: Multiple Roles.
Field: In the outfield he plays with quick feet, getting too and through the baseball in a timely fashion. Ball skills are on par for class.
Throw: Unique arm action but ball comes out decent.
Defensive Projection: LF/CF.
7/10/18
A lefty swinger with an athletic loading sequence. Balanced swing with a level path through the zone. Finds the barrel often with an above average strength and speed combination. Line drive swinger with sneaky pop for class. In the outfield he plays under control too and through. Plays one-handed through the baseball with adequate ball skills. Arm strength is developing/area for improvement.
