Body Type: 6-foot-1, 160-pound thin and athletic frame.
Swing Mechanics: Simple and smooth load into lower half. Keeps his hands loose and loaded.
Hit: Level bat path that produces above average bat speed, and the ball jumps off his bat.
Power: Flashed it. Just needs to develop and add size.
Offensive Projection: Top of the lineup guy.
Field: Looks the part over at third base. Smooth actions with above average ball skills and the ability to make plays on the move.
Throw: Loose, clean arm with already solid strength and more to come down the road.
Defensive Projection: 3B.
Additional Comments: Doubled to the wall in game.
6-foot-1, 160 pound right handed pitcher with a lanky frame throws with a ¾ arm action. Fry has a faster paced tempo showing good intent with each throw. Activates back leg to drive downhill well with a good finish. His Fastball had slight arm side run to it at 72-75 topping at 76 mph. Curveball was 67-71 and low in the zone. Throws a developing changeup sat 67-69 mph. At the plate the righty starts in an open setup. Goes with a short stride for timing while taking his hands slightly back to a strong launch position. Swing shows balance and a nice, level path. Creates early barrel acceleration and found the barrel often. Ball came off well, generating regular gap pop. Showed qualities of a future run producer. A rangy infielder with athletic actions. Reacts well off the bat, showing above average lateral mobility. Glove skills are above average as well. Profiles as an above average defender who projects for enough arm to stay on the left side.
