5-foot-11, 165 pound catching prospect starts from a balanced, lower stance showing quick actions with nice intent behind each. Footwork was average as improvement is need on taking momentum through the plate and at target on throws. Did a solid job receiving and ball to hand transfer was quick. Threw 70 mph down to second base. Pop times ranged from 2.06-2.14 seconds. Has an athletic look to him in the box from the right side. Goes with a small leg kick for timing as hands travel slightly back to launch. Loadings sequence creates energy and he does a nice job of staying balanced throughout swing. Swing is efficient and compact. A candidate to hit in the middle of a lineup as strength arrives with physical maturity. Solid round of BP.
