6-foot-1, 170 pound left handed hitting first baseman had a bigger frame and displayed an uphill swing with some power. Weast created good separation and fires his hips well, but his bat could improve on staying in the zone longer to make contact. His exit velocity was 75 mph which could improve if he relaxes his back elbow and allow the bat to whip through the zone instead of being forced. At first base, he uses long arm action through high ¾ arm slot. Top velocity of 72 mph across the infield. Footwork is average at this stage.
