2/2/2019 Position

Body Type: 5-foot-8 145-pound prospect.
Swing Mechanics:
Utilizes a toe tap load with a slight armbar that leads to him cast his barrel a bit. Shows a flat bat path but good barrel control because of what appears to be strong hands and wrists.
Hit:
Good bat to ball ability. Produced consistent solid contact during his round.
Power:
86 mph exit velocity.
Offensive Projection:
Seems to be a guy that at least checks the box of offensive expectations for a defensively dominated position.
Run:
7.74 60 yard dash.
Field:
Behind the plate showed a 2.04 to 2.09 pop time. Showed somewhat sloppy movements at time with big movements. Could his footwork and his exchange on his throws. Overall showed good potential considering the amount of room for improvement while still having a solid pop time. In the OF he attacks the ball well while also playing through the ball well. Good footwork and an average release.
Defensive Projection:
Although presently seeming to be a little more polished in the outfield than he was behind the plate, he still probably projects better as a catcher at the next level because of some of the raw tools he showed.
