Nathan Teller: SS/RHP, (2023) Northmont, OH. 5-foot-6, 145-pound. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 84 mph. (62.3 mph bat speed average). (22.9 mph hand speed average). Began in a balanced stance with a controlled load, then used a toe tap stride. Had a simple flat swing plane, quick bat speed and high finish. Solid while in the infield, made throws up to 84 mph; had consistent footwork, sure hands, and a quick exchange. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Had a quick arm action with a high ¾ slot. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 7.16. On the mound, showed consistent arm speed, also used a loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses easy effort. Threw his fastball 77-79 mph. Had slight running action. (Max spin 2076; Avg 1962). Threw a 11/5 curveball (62-64) with late action. (Max spin 2001; Avg 2001). He had fading action on his changeup (69-71). 

Nathan Teller: SS/RHP, (2023) Northmont, OH. 5-foot-6, 130-pound. In the box, Teller recorded an exit velocity of 81 mph. (62.43 mph bat speed average). (24.00 mph hand speed average). Starts in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled load, then uses a toe tap stride. Has quick bat speed, upward swing plane and high finish. Solid in the infield, his best throw was registered at 74 mph; has soft hands, a fluid exchange, and consistent feet. Showed a quick arm action and a high ¾ slot. During the event, ran the 60-yard dash in 7.09.  

Hit: Leg kick timing trigger during back load to hands. Uses body very well, showing upper 20gs of rotational acceleration. Much more pop to come with maturity.
Power: Line drive pop.
Offensive Projection: Top of lineup.
Field: Very solid showing in the infield. good athlete with athleticism and above average ball skills who is mechanically sound.
Throw: Ball comes out easy through a high-3/4 slot. Clean arm.
Defensive Projection: Multiple spots.

Delivery/Scouting Notes: Arm to keep an eye on. Clean delivery with fluid actions and the ability to fill up the zone. Should see easy velo gains with maturity and both secondary offerings were impressive.
Fastball: Ball comes out well sitting in the mid 70s with heavy action at times.
Breaking Ball: Above average pitch. Big, 11/5 action with sharp tilt.
Changeup: Well above average pitch for class. Good sell with later fading action. Also Showed a knuckleball.
Pitchability:

5-foot-6, 120-pound body frame. In the infield he has athleticism showing the ability to move well laterally covering ground. Has softness to his hands and throws with a clean arm action through a ¾ slot reaching a velocity of 68 mph. On the mound he throws with regular effort to his delivery utilizing a vertical leg lift landing in a straight line at foot strike. Has quickness to his arm speed through a ¾ slot. Fastball has some arm-side run at times between 71-72 mph. Slider has good shape with sinking action ranging from 62-64 mph. Knuckleball has tumble and sinking movement at 58-59 mph. Right-handed hitter starts from an open stance using a leg kick to initiate his lower half and strides back to even upon landing. Swings with a mostly level bat path through the zone finishing his swing with a two-handed follow through. Recorded an exit velocity of 80 mph. Ran a 7.68 60-yard dash.
