Body Type: 6-foot-2 155-pound prospect.
Swing Mechanics: Starts in an open setup and uses a toe tap load. Shows a somewhat flat bat path with good bat to ball ability. Keeps his barrel through the zone well.
Hit: Good bat to ball ability.
Power: 80 mph exit velocity.
Offensive Projection: Shows some good athleticism to his swing at times. Shows some potential to develop into a gap to gap threat. Shows overall pull tendencies.
Field: In the outfield he is very two handed and shows a choppy rhythm to his actions. Plays through the ball well with average footwork.
Throw: 84 mph from the outfield.
Run: 4.51 home to first.
Defensive Projection: Doesn’t move with particularly great actions in the outfield but shows solid arm strength and a reliable glove that would make him fit best as a corner OF guy at the next level.
Body Type: 6-foot-2 155-pound prospect with room to add strength.
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Athletic, high energy/quick tempo delivery that requires some effort.
Fastball: 80-84 mph fastball works out of a ¾ slot. Mostly straight staying in the upper part of the zone. Flashes a 2-seam that shows slight arm side run.
Curveball: 70-71 mph curveball has a fairly sharp 12/6 break. There is good rotation on the pitch and could generate some swing and misses.
Slider: 75-78 mph slider has a short lateral break. Pitch is more cutter like at this stage but does show slight two plane action.
Changeup: 78-79 mph changeup with thrown with deceptive arm action. Pitch is mostly straight at this stage.
Pitchability: Showed ability to land all pitches for strikes. Fastball/Curveball looks to be a solid two pitch combo as they work well of each other. Change and slider look to still be in the developmental stages.
Role: Too early to tell. Good frame to work with and should see a velo jump. Does have a higher effort delivery but seems to repeat well. Could see starter or late inning reliever.
