9/24/17
Continues to impress behind the plate. Arguably one of the top defensive catchers left on the board in the 2018 class. Receives very well and does a nice job of blocking. Catch and throw skills were on display in this game as he threw out both runners who tried stealing on him. A contact type guy at the plate who takes a slightly downhill path to the baseball. Loading sequence is simple, using a smooth back load during his stride forward. Swings with intent and shows twitch through the zone. Has untapped juice in there as he learns to get more out of his body and levels out plane. Possesses enough natural tools to grow into a routine gap threat at the plate.
Home to First: 4.77
Catcher Velocity: 75
Pop Times: 2.06-2.09
Exit Velocity: 79

8/6/17
A right-handed hitter that starts in a taller setup. Uses a short stride for timing. Easy back load prior to his slightly downhill path. Swing is compact and bat has some quickness to it. Strength stands out in swing. Has some untapped juice in there as he learns to get more out of his body. Present line drive guy. Has the natural tools to be a run producer. Strong kid with a fast bat. At third base he uses quick, fluid pre fielding footwork. Actions are smooth and he showed soft hands. Has feel for the spot and enough arm to stay there. Glove skills are better inside his funnel. Solid defender. Looked the part behind the plate as well. All tools grade out as above average. Has feel back there.
60-Yard Dash: 7.6
Pop Time: 2.09-2.25
Catcher Velocity: 74
INF Velocity: 78
Exit Velocity: 76

5/31/17
A right-handed hitter that starts in an athletic setup. Uses a smile approach mechanically, taking his hands to launch during his short stride forward. Bat has definite quickness to it as it gets through the zone on a level path. Consistently sprayed line drives to both sides of the field. Behind the plate he starts in a high crouch. Footwork is quick and does a nice job creating direction. Exchange skills are there and arm action is ideal for the position.

2/19/17
5-foot-11, 160-pound prospect. In the infield, he shows natural feel for the third base position. Creates angles with his footwork. Has some quickness to his transfer. Top velocity of 73 mph across the infield. Behind the dish, he starts in a high crouch. Uses short footwork. Gets tall and creates direction towards second base. Throws with short arm action through high ¾ slot. Pop times between 1.96 to 2.01 with good arm strength at 75 mph out of the crouch. A contact type guy at the plate with a very quick bat. Uses a relatively simple approach mechanically prior to taking a level path to the baseball. Has some whip through the zone with the ability to create backspin.

60 Yard Dash: 7.61
Position Velocity: 73 IF, 75 C
Pop Time: 1.96-2.01
Exit Velocity: 78
