Phillip Davidson: SS/2B, (2023) NDCL, OH. 5-foot-9, 155-pound athletic lean build. (63.3 mph bat speed average). (20.6 mph hand speed average). Began in a tall narrow stance with a smooth controlled load, then used a long controlled stride. Bat speed was electric, used a short uphill swing plane and good extension on his finish. Found lots of barrels with tons of loud contact. Gap to gap aggressive approach. Projectable advanced while in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 71 mph; has a clean fluid exchange, athletic in control feet, and soft sure hands. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Used a quick compact arm action with athletic slot while showing consistent accuracy to the base. (Max spin ; Avg ).
Phillip Davidson: SS/2B, (2023) NDCL, OH. 5-foot-8, 130-pound athletic frame. At the plate, Davidson had an exit velocity of 80 mph. Began in an athletic stance with a quick load, then used a controlled stride. Bat speed was raw, and displayed an an inside-out level swing plane. Smooth while in the infield, made throws up to 63 mph; has soft hands, smooth feet, and a clean exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Clocked a time of 4.00 30 yard dash in the 30-yard dash.
Hit:Right-handed hitter that starts in an upright stance. Goes with a back load to hands during controlled stride. Stays inside the baseball well working through a middle-back approach in BP. Generated consistent line drive flightl throughout the round.
Power:Line drive pop.
Offensive Projection:Table setter.
Max BP Exit:75 mph
Max BP Distance:248 ft
Field:In the infield he plays under control with smoothness to actions. Does a nice job of fielding the ball out in front of body. Glove looks reliable.
Throw:Accurate arm with developing strength.
Defensive Projection:MIF.

Hit: Right-handed hitter with an easy, fluid load. Downhill, whippy stroke with feel for contact. Barrelled up everything in bP. Stays inside the baseball well. Balanced natural tools.
Power: Line drive pop.
Offensive Projection: TBD.

Hit: Really liked what I saw at the plate. Very efficient, athletic stroke that generates a ton of energy. Barrel whips through the zone on a level path. A guy to look at for for when he develops physically.

Field: An infielder with fluid, athletic actions. Soft hands through fielding with developing ball skills.
