Reece McNamee: 2B/RHP, (2024) Kings, OH. 5-foot-7, 135-pound. In the box, Mcnamee's best exit velocity was 77 mph. (59.9 mph bat speed average). (19.7 mph hand speed average). Starts in a balanced quiet stance with a quick load, then uses a controlled stride. Had a simple flat swing plane, efficient bat speed and high finish. Solid while in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 70 mph; had choppy footwork, a natural exchange, and sure hands. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Had a quick arm action and a high ¾ slot. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 7.88. On the mound, showing consistent arm speed he had a high ¾ arm angle and a loose arm action. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and shows easy effort. Sat with his fastball at 74-75 mph. Had slight running action. (Max spin 2146; Avg 1954). His 11/5 curveball (59-60) had sweeping action. (Max spin 2358; Avg 2324). His changeup (68-70) had slight fading action.
5-foot-3, 110-pound slim frame. Capable during batting practice, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 70 mph. Begins in a balanced stance with a controlled load, then uses a toe tap. Had an upward swing plane, and his bat speed was average. He found some barrels in his rounds. Curveball (53-56 mph), changeup (59-60 mph).Produced a fastball that came in at 62-63 mph.
