Ronnie Fruscella: C/RHP, (2023) Twinsburg, OH. 5-foot-8, 160-pound athletic build. Solid in the box, the right-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 81 mph. (61.5 mph bat speed average). (19.3 mph hand speed average). Starts in a balanced stance with a smooth load, then uses a controlled small leg kick. Had a short simple swing plane, present bat speed and good extension on his finish. Found some barrels during his rounds. Behind the plate, throw downs to second were maxed at 77 mph. While catching, he recorded a position velocity of 77 mph during throw downs; recorded pop times of 2.00-2.11. During the event, ran the 60-yard dash in 8.21. Solid on the mound, had a high ¾ arm angle and a quick arm action with quick arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses easy effort. Shows an athletic finish. Shows control in the zone and cutting action with tight movement. (Max spin 1997; Avg 1893). His 11/5 curveball has gradual action. (Max spin 2126; Avg 1886). He had fading action on his changeup.
