Rylen Williams: RHP/3B, (2023) Bishop Ready, OH. 6-foot-1, 205-pound. (67.3 mph bat speed average). (19.4 mph hand speed average). Started in a wide athletic stance with a smooth load, then used a toe tap quick stride. Has quick explosive bat speed, short upward swing plane and high finish. Had some loud contact and found a few barrels. Up the middle line drive approach. Solid capable while in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 77 mph; has in control consistent feet, sure consistent hands, and a natural quick exchange. Fields the ball out front to the side, movements laterally were developing. Clocked a 60 time of 8.11 at the event. Solid on the mound, has above average arm speed and a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows easy effort. Athletic balance point. Has arm side command and running action. (Max spin 1897; Avg 1794). Threw a 11/5 curveball with gradual action. (Max spin 2144; Avg 2077). He had fading action on his changeup.

Starts in an athletic quiet stance with a controlled load, then uses a small leg kick. Bat speed is efficient, displays a loose level swing plane and high finish. Solid in the infield, recorded a position velocity of 71 mph; showed soft hands, consistent feet, and a natural exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Used a quick arm action and a high ¾ slot. Recorded a time of 7.98 in the 60-yard dash. On the mound, showing some arm speed he had a high ¾ arm angle with a consistent arm action. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and shows easy effort. Produced a fastball that came in at 75-78 mph. Had slight running action. (Max spin 1912; Avg 1771). Throws a 11/5 curveball (62-66) that has slight sweeping action. (Max spin 2127; Avg 1991). His changeup (70-72) showed some action.
