4/14/19

Wofford commit, currently ranked No. 50 in the Ohio’ 2019 class. 6-foot-1, 183-pound, athletically-built, well-proportioned, right-handed hitting shortstop. Had one of the more impressive days at the PBR Midwest Select. Tripled and homered in the second game of the day and finished the first game 1-for-3 with a double, a run scored and a walk. Took competitive at-bats all game long. Balanced, quiet setup, stays within himself, ball jumps off the barrel and uses the middle of the field. Quick bat, stays through the hitting zone and has feel for the barrel. Defensively, easy athletic infield actions, soft hands, clean release and arm carries across the diamond. High-level 2019 shortstop.

6/6/17
A righty swinger that starts in an athletic setup. Takes his hands to launch during forward movement. Lower half creates solid energy into contact. Bat has obvious quickness through the zone on a level path. Ball jumps off his bat when he finds the barrel. Showed gap to gap pop in batting practice. Was impressive in the infield. Actions are athletic and glove works. Transfer is smooth and quick. Showed the ability to throw from different arm angles.

1/28/17
A bat to follow in the 2019 class. Natural tools are impressive. Starts in athletic stance with hands just above shoulder height. Loading sequence is fluid. Small leg kick and transfers momentum well through contact. Solid hitter with impressive pop in his bat. Defensively, he plays from his toes. Creates angles towards first base. Foot speed is average at this stage. Good range with some softness in his hands. Showed the ability to throw from multiple angles with some quickness to his release. Overall strong skill set, but needs to continue improving arm strength and foot speed for the next level.

IF Velocity: 76
Home to 1st: 4.53
Exit Velocity: 85

6/15/16
6-foot, 165-pound athletic frame. An above average skill set in the infield for his age. Has fluidity to his actions with the ability to play through the baseball. Good lateral mobility, with the ability to keep his actions on the move. Arm strength will need to continue to improve. At the plate he starts in a wide setup before using a leg kick to initiate his lower half. Good rhythm to swing sequence. Balls came off his bat well in batting practice. Ran a 5.06 down the line and registered an exit velocity of 85 mph.

5/31/16
6-foot, 165-pound athletic frame. A talented 2019 prospect. Creates good energy into contact, stemming from an efficient load. Fast bat with strength through the zone. At times tends to get on front foot too early. Registered an exit velocity of 86 mph and ran a 4.68 from home to first. Has athletic actions in the infield with above average hands. Plays through the baseball nicely with above average arm strength across the infield.
