6/7/16
5-foot-10, 185-pound athletic frame. Starts in an open setup before getting his lower half involved through a toe turn load. Does a nice job of clearing his hips allowing his bat to work freely through the zone. Has some strength and quickness to his bat. A top of the lineup type guy with pop. Registered an exit velocity of 89 mph and ran a 7.26 60-yard dash. Displays ¾ release. Top velocity of 85 mph on his throws. Projects best as a corner outfield type or potential first baseman pending offensive production. He shows above average arm strength and fielding ability. 5-foot-10, 185-pound athletic frame. Starts in an open setup before getting his lower half involved through a toe turn load. A two-way prospect that is an athletic presence on the mound. Has efficient mechanics with clean arm action and above average armspeed. Fastball sat 78-82 mph with substantial arm side run. Spun one of the better breakers of the day with very sharp movement and a 1/7 shape. Also had feel for his changeup that had similar run and look as his fastball.

6/8/15
5-foot-11, 180-pound athletic body frame. From the outfield he uses good footwork with a calm, easy approach to ground balls. He fields the ball out front nicely on his glove side, near his right foot, transitioning into a slight crow hop. He throws using a clean arm action coming from a high ¾ slot reaching a top velocity of 82 mph on his throws with some carry from the outfield. Right-handed hitter starts from an open stance getting himself squared back up to even before he swings. Load with his hands gets back to arm bar position and swings with a mostly level bat path through the zone. He reached a top exit velocity of 89 mph, while showing signs of strength in his swing during his round of batting practice. He ran a 7.13 60-yard dash. On the mound the lefty’s delivery requires effort. He uses a good hip load with his leg kick and repeatable mechanics. He lands pretty much even at foot strike. He throws with a clean arm action, using quicker arm speed, coming from a ¾ slot. Tends to finish and carry his momentum towards third-base side. His fastball was between 79-80 mph with some arm-side run action. His curveball was at 64-66 mph with gradual break and good depth at a 1/7 tilt. He threw his changeup using fastball arm speed at 68-69 mph.

7/29/14
5-foot-10, 170-pound athletic body frame. From the outfield, he can be more aggressive playing through ground balls hit at him, and can improve footwork by incorporating a crow hop to his throws. He throws with 80 mph arm strength. Offensively, he starts with a tall slightly open set up getting back to even, hands back trigger gets to arm bar, line drive type production with doubles power. He squared up two balls to the left side in two game at bats. Produced a top exit velocity of 82 mph and ran a 4.58 out of the box. From the mound the lefty throws using average arm speed with regular effort, through a ¾ slot. His fastball was between 79-81 mph. Right-handed hitter starts with a balanced set up, uses an inward turn with his front foot for a timing mechanism, hands back trigger gets to arm bar, showing line drive doubles type power reaching a top exit velocity of 78 mph. He ran a 4.65 down the line to first base. On the mound the lefty uses a slow paced windup leg lifts straight up then back down and pauses at the bottom just before he goes into his stride.
