Took an impressive round of batting practice, showing off raw power to his pull side. Mechanically, he uses a very fluid loading sequence, taking his hands back to launch during his stride forward. Path is slightly uphill with advanced strength through contact. Handles the low pitch very well and consistently made loud contact. Defensively, he plays smooth off the bag at first base. Glove skills are above average for the position. Transfer skills had some quickness to them on his double play balls.
