Tank Tompkins: RHP/OF, (2026) Delaware Hayes, OH. 5-foot-10, 150-pound. At the plate, Tompkins best exit velocity was 87 mph. (64.82 mph bat speed average). (20.92 mph hand speed average). Started in a balanced tall stance with a controlled load, then used a short controlled stride. Has quick bat speed, simple upward swing plane and high good extension on his finish. Solid from the outfield, his best throws to the bases were registered at 63 mph; showed developing quick feet, consistent hands, and a natural exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Had a loose arm action with a high ¾ slot. Clocked a time of 7.96 in the 60-yard dash. Capable on the mound, showing some arm speed he had a high ¾ arm angle with a loose arm action. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and shows easy effort. Threw his fastball 69-72 mph. Shows slight running action. (Max spin 2025; Avg 1819). His 11/5 curveball (61-62) showed slight action. (Max spin 2020; Avg 1961). His changeup (65-67) shows some action.
