Tavien St. Clair: RHP/SS, (2025) Bellefontaine, OH. 6-foot-3, 185-pound. In the box, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 88 mph. (63.8 mph bat speed average). (19.7 mph hand speed average). Started in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled load, then used a quick stride. Bat speed is quick, shows a simple upward swing plane and good extension on his finish. Solid while in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 77 mph; shows soft hands, consistent feet, and a clean exchange. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Had a high ¾ slot and a quick arm action. On the mound, used a clean arm action and a high ¾ arm angle while showing quick arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows some effort. Threw his fastball 80-86 mph. Has slight running action. (Max spin 2212; Avg 2111). Shows slurvey action on his 11/5 curveball (65-67). (Max spin 1870; Avg 1758). His changeup (73-76) showed some fading action. Ran a 4.10 30 yard dash.
