6/5/18 A good athlete with a high motor. Intangibles through the roof. One of the few players that stood out for effort on the field over the two days. Also very talented physically. An upside bat from the left side that has present gap abilities with some emerging power to his pull side. Looked to be able to handle velocity well in game. At first base he projects as a well above average defender at the next level. Offers unusual athleticism for the position with impressive ball skills. With his athleticism I wouldn’t rule out the corner outfield as a possibility at the next level either. 60-yard dash: 7.05 Infield Velocity: 78 Exit Velocity: 86
2/18/18 6-foot-1, 190 pound prospect has a well-built, sturdy frame. The first basemen showed exceptional footwork for his size at first base getting off the bag quick to the ball followed by accurate strikes while turning two. Dilz fields it very well from a good, balanced fielding stance and also has a stronger arm for his position throwing 83 mph across the diamond. Strong player with good athleticism. At the plate he has a run producer look to him from the left side. Looks to turn on the ball and can do it with authority. Both strength and bat speed are advanced for class. Definite bat to look out for. 60-yard dash: 7.29 Infield Velocity: 83 Exit Velocity: 84
5/31/17 A left-handed hitter that starts in an athletic setup. Swing is fluid on a level plane. Very impressive natural tools. Gap to gap pop at this stage with power to come with maturity. Impressive young bat to follow. A solid athlete with obvious feel for the first base position. Plays with fluidity and showed confidence in his glove. Solid defender. Home to First: 4.48 Infield Velocity: 73 Exit Velocity: 86
2/19/17 6-foot-1, 185-pound prospect with long, athletic frame. Natural feel for the first base position. Comes off the bag with a sense of urgency. Good flexibility in his lower half. Throws from ¾ slot with long arm action. At the plate he showed above average natural tools and impressive pop to the middle of the field. A back leg hitter that takes an uphill path to the baseball. Would be aided by more weight shift into contact to level out his path and create more energy.
60 Yard Dash: 7.51 Position Velocity: 71 Exit Velocity: 74
