Troy Sudbrook: SS/RHP, (2022) Avon, OH. Toledo Commit, 6-foot-3, 210-pound. At the plate, Sudbrook was ranked 3rd with an exit velocity of 101 mph. (69.7 mph bat speed average). (20.2 mph hand speed average). Begins in an athletic tall stance with a controlled load, then uses a small leg kick. Bat speed was quick, used a loose uphill swing plane and good extension on his finish. Solid showed his live arm in the infield with position velocities up to 87 mph; has consistent feet, a natural exchange, and soft hands. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Used a high ¾ slot and a quick arm action. The athletic recruit showcased his speed with a sub-seven 60 time of 6.95.
Troy Sudbrook: SS/RHP, (2022) Avon, OH. 6-foot-3, 205-pound. In the box, the left-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 94 mph. Started in a tall athletic stance with a compact smooth load, then used a controlled stride. Has an upward swing plane, explosive bat speed and high finish. Athletic in the infield, displayed a velocity of 84 mph; showed consistent feet, a clean exchange, and soft hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Showed a ¾ slot with a quick arm action. Showed his athleticism during the event with a sub-seven 60 time of 6.91.
Troy Sudbrook: SS/RHP, (2022) Avon, OH. 6-foot-3, 200-pound. Above average during batting practice, Sudbrook displayed an exit velocity of 100 mph, Ranks #1 with EV at the event. Starts in a balanced athletic stance with a smooth controlled load, then uses a short stride. Bat speed is electric and exhibits a level swing plane. He found multiple barrels with a lot of loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Athletic in the infield, had a live arm with throws that topped out at 86 mph; has a natural exchange, soft hands, and athletic feet. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Showed his athleticism during the event with a sub-seven 60 time of 6.86. Athletic on the mound, had a quick arm action and a ¾ arm angle with quick arm speed. Slow-tempo type pitcher. Curveball (73-75 mph), changeup (76-78 mph), slider (72-76 mph).Sat with his fastball at 84-85 mph.
Scout Evaluation
Scouting Notes: One of the top two-way talents in the state. The 6-foot-3 prospect can generate exit velocities into the upper 90s from the left side then hope on the mound and show you a live fastball from the right. Up to 83mph. with a tight slider.

Hit:Big time tools here from the left side. 6-foot-3 lefty bat with an advanced combination of strength/speed to hands. One of the more physical rounds we saw. Up to 92mph exit velocity in his round.
Power:Potential for more than occasional power.
Offensive Projection:Middle.
Field:Left side of the infield candidate. Has feel for his feet with above average ball skills and arm strength.
Throw:Ball jumps out of hand.
Defensive Projection:Multiple Spots.
Hit: Left-handed hitter that starts in a balanced stance. One of the louder rounds we saw on the day. Physical dude with natural whip and easy bat speed. Ball flew off his bat, especially to pull side. At 6-foot-3 with those tools the upside is obvious.
Power: Legit power potential.
Offensive Projection: Run producer.
Max BP Exit Velocity: 96mph.
Max BP Distance: 376ft.
Field: Left side of the infield candidate. Athletic dude with some fluidity to actions. Very rangy defender with ball skills he can maintain on the move.
Throw: Above average strength.
Defensive Projection: Left side of infield.
Scouting Notes: Much like as a position guy there's obvious upside here. 6-foot-3, with a fastball up to 83mph and feel for spin. Efficient with athleticism so expect more velocity down the road. Strike thrower for the most part.

Delivery Notes: Vertical slow tempo delivery with side arm low ¾ arm action. Lacks usage out of the lower half.
Fastball: Glove side run but mostly stays true through the zone at 81mph.
Curveball: Slider action to it at an 10/5 break coming around 66mph.
Changeup: Better offering shows good arm speed with arm side fade at 73mph.

Hit: Tall left handed hitter with projectable frame. Solid quick hands with an easy effort approach.
Power: Above average power for class and will only develop with time. Exit velo of 86mph.
Offensive Projection: Line drive/potential power hitter
Field: Vertical throughout most approaches but presents a good range.

Swings it from the left side, starting in a balanced stance. Hands show a slight back load during his quick stride forward. Swing is very downhill and compact. Bat shows some quickness to it.
