6/20/18
At the plate he swings it from the right side, starting in a balanced stance. Double tap for timing as barrel flows back to a vertical launch. Strength is top tool through the zone but bat speed isn’t far behind. Physical bat with easy, impressive jump off the barrel. Middle of the lineup type. BP was loud. In the outfield he has a corner frame and skill set. Gets to and through efficiently showing average ball skills. Arm is area for improvement.

6/13/18
A righty swinger that starts in a balanced stance. Uses a double tap for timing, keeping hands simple through load and into launch. Strong kid with some bat speed in there. Has some room to clean up movements but the natural tools are there and ball comes off well. In the outfield he plays under control in his approach .Plays one handed through the baseball and gets rid of it in a timely fashion. Arm action fits the position and he showed present accuracy to both bases. Arm strength is on par for class and projects for more. Two-way prospect. On the mound the righty works with an uptempo pace to a delivery that requires some effort. Uses a waist high leg lift with a slight inward turn at the top. Drop and drive type guy who lands in line to home plate prior to finishing toward the first base line. Fastball comes out well through a high-¾ slot sitting 76-78 mph. Also tosses a cutter that will show heavy cut with occasional sink at 73-75 mph. Compliments the fastball with a tight, 11/5 shaped breaking ball at 66-68 mph. The pitch isn’t a big breaker but has enough depth and action to miss barrels.

6/28/16
5-foot-8, 180-pound strong build. Ran a 7.45 60-yard dash. Took an impressive round of batting practice. Has a simple approach mechanically and lets his advanced strength and batspeed go to work. Remains fluid throughout his load before taking a level path to the ball. Showed power potential in batting practice once he learns to use his lower half more efficiently. Reached a top exit velocity of 77 mph with much more in the tank. In the infield he threw across the diamond with 69 mph arm strength. Average hands and feet at this stage. Would be aided by playing lower. On the mound he has a slower tempo to a delivery that requires some effort. Fastball sat 70-74 mph with run at times. Also flashed a 61-64 mph breaking ball with an 11/5 shape.

3/19/16
5-foot-7, 175-pound prospect. Throws from high ¾ to over the top slot. Gets downhill angle. Delivery is a bit choppy and creates some balance and directional issues at times. Fastball sat at 69-74 mph with straight action. Uses two breaking balls. Slider was impressive at 67-68 mph. Good hand speed with the pitch. Late break. Curveball was 54-57 mph with slower break. Changeup sat at 57-58 mph. At the plate he starts slightly open and uses a small knee pinch load and aggressive stride to get back to even. Strong kid. Taking a level path to the ball he was able to find the barrel consistently during batting practice. Ball jumps off his bat and he showed off his strength/batspeed by registering an exit velocity of 86 mph. Moves well in the infield and has some athleticism to his actions. Will need to work on playing through the baseball. Threw across the infield with 72 mph arm strength.
