On the mound, the right-hander works only from the stretch with a moder leg kick before straightening it and gliding down the mound, finishing to the first base side. Arm action is long, loose, and quick in the back before whipping through a side-arm slot with arm speed. Fastball shows heavy run and sink with late life at 83-84 mph, commanded to both sides of the dish. Slider has 11/5 shape flashing tight spin and late bite at 66-67 mph. Splitter is a swing and miss pitch at 72-74 mph with heavy sink, thrown with full arm speed.
Displayed a lean, projectable 6-foot-1, 175-pound frame with present strength and athleticism. Offensively, the right-handed hitter starts in an upright, slightly open stance with rhythm in hands. Uses a small knee-knock load and long stride to initiate his swing. Flat, line-drive bat path with consistent barrels to all fields during BP, getting good extension through the ball. 84 mph exit velocity. Ran a 7.39 60-yard dash. In the infield, shows above average hands with deliberate, clean footwork with confident actions. Has a loose, whippy ¾ arm slot yielding accurate throws at 83 mph.
