Positional Profile: LHP/1B
Body: 6-foot, 160-pounds. Athletic and projectable build with room for added strength and size in the future.
Hit: LHH. Starts with a wider and athletic base with floating hands. Simple stride to a balanced base. Slight arm bar posture with the lead arm working straight back. Strong top hand finish with a rotational path with the hands. Level bat path and showed the ability to drive the ball the opposite way.
Defense: In the infield attacks the ball with aggressive routes and footwork. Fields the ball out in front of the body with soft hands and feel for glove action. Clean exchanges out of the glove and shows proper footwork around the bag. Registered 71 mph across the diamond.
Run: 4.82 runner home to first.
Delivery: Worked exclusively from the stretch position. Works to a mid height balance point with a slow leg lift and strong weight stack. Strong push off the rubber with hands working in and tight to the body. Works from the middle of the rubber and strides directionally down the center of the mound in to a firm front leg. Maintains balance and athleticism well throughout the delivery.
Arm: Action: ¾ arm slot with a shorter arm action.
Fastball: 71-74 mph. Arm side running action with command to the arm side of the plate.
Curveball: 62-65 mph. Early break with some depth and feel for landing in the zone.
