Positional Profile: 3B/RHP
Body: 6-0, 185-pounds. Athletic build with present strength.

Hit: RHH. Starts with a slightly open stance with an upright posture and hands set at shoulder height. Quick load into the lower half with rocking weight.  Linear motion with the lower half working into a firm front leg.  Slight lean back in the posture at contact.  Rotational path with the hands and works a pull side approach.
Power: 89.6 max exit velocity, averaged 83.1 mph. 293’ max distance.
Arm: RH.  INF - 77 mph.  3/4 arm slot with a loose and whippy arm action.
Defense: Attacks the ball with shorter strides and lateral routes to the ball.  Fields the ball out in front of the body with developing glove action and a high waist bend.  Showed good technique on the slow roller.
Run: 7.57 runner in the 60.
Delivery: Very short and simple footwork around the rubber working to a very easy pivot foot.  Works to a high balance point with weight leaning forward onto the back foot toe.  Hands break from the glove cleanly at the top of the delivery.  Repeats delivery well with good balance throughout the process.  Works from the middle of the rubber and strides down the center of the mound with good extension.
Arm Action: RH.
FB: T77.9, 76.1-77.3 mph. Heavy arm side run and sinking action to the bottom of the zone. T2118, 2027 average rpm.
CB: 66.8-69.3 mph. Slurvy shape with early break and developing spin. T1759, 1759 average rpm.
CH: 68.8-68.9 mph. Plus fade and depth.  Makings of a ture swing and miss pitch with good hand speed. T1865, 1767 average rpm.
 

Body: 5-foot-10, 165-pound athletic frame with room for added strength and size in the future.

Hit: RHH.  At the plate starts with a slightly open stance and upright posture.  Hands get set above shoulder height with a high back elbow.  Simple stride with short weight transfer into a firm front side.  Leans back at contact with uphill bat path and tries to play the ball up in the air.  Plays the ball deeper in the zone and shows the ability to use the whole field.  Developing bat speed and hand speed through the zone.

Power: 82 mph exit velocity off the tee and 86 mph exit velocity in BP.

Arm: RH.  INF-76 mph.  ¾ arm slot with shorter arm action and hand working across the chest at release.

Defense: In the infield works around the ball with shorter/choppy steps with controlled rhythm.  Fields the ball out in front of the body with soft hands and developing glove action.  Shows ability to range to both the glove hand and back hand sides.  Good slow roller technique and clean transfers out of the glove.

Run: 5.01 runner to first base.

Delivery: On the mound uses short and simple footwork around the rubber.  Quick paced delivery working to a high balance point.  Strong weight stack on back foot with slight coil with the shoulders and hips at the top of the balance point.  Slight shoulder tilt with a high glove side.  Works from the first base side of the rubber and lands slightly closed down the third base side of the slope.   

Arm Action: High ¾ arm slot with long/clean arm action and release.

FB: 75-77 mph, very good extension down the slope with riding life through the zone and arm side run.

CB: 70-73 mph, early break with some depth to the bottom of the zone.

Grant Brunner: 3B/RHP, (2023) Edmond Memorial, OK. 5-foot-9, 150-pound slim frame. In the box, the right-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 78 mph. Started in a tall stance with a small load, then used a long stride to start his swing. Bat speed is some, displays upward swing plane and high finish. Barreled up some balls during the round. Line drive approach. Developing in the infield, his position velocity was registered at 70 mph; showed a natural exchange, sure hands and choppy feet. Used a long arm action and an-over-the-top slot. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 8.05. Projectable on the mound, showed some arm speed with a high ¾ arm angle and a long arm action. Feel type pitcher who uses easy effort. Showed tall balance point and uphill shoulders. Lands square with a clean finish. Changeup (63-64 mph).Threw his fastball 69-71 mph; keeps its plane, consistently in the zone. His curveball (59-60) shows gradual action.
