Body: 5-foot-11, 165-pounds. Proportional and athletic build with room for added strength and size in the future.
Hit: LHH. Starts with an upright posture and lands into a slightly closed position using a leg kick stride. Quick rotational path with the hands working hard to the inside part of the ball. Line drive approach and shows the ability to drive the ball to the opposite field well. Maintains balance well throughout the swing and swings with a quiet head.
Defense: Behind the plate receives the ball with one knee in the dirt and firm wrists with good hip flexibility. Works cleanly and quickly out of the crouch with exchanges out in front of the chest. Throws had good carry and accuracy to the bag with pop times registering between 2.09-2.22 at 74 mph. Strong blocking posture with sinking hips to the ground and good recovery skills.
Run: 7.21 runner in the 60.
Body: 5-foot-10, 145-pound lean and developing frame with room for added strength and size in the future.
Hit: LHH. At the plate starts with a a neutral stance with an athletic posture. Hands get set at shoulder height with a high back elbow and vertical bat angle. Leg lift stride to wide base and knee-bent front side. Hands work quickly through the zone on a rotational path with a strong top hand. Lower body works linearly through the zone with strong weight transfer to the front side. Does a good job of matching plane with the pitch and getting the ball up in the air.
Power: 78 mph exit velocity off the tee and 82 mph exit velocity in BP.
Arm: RH. OF-78 mph. Over the top arm slot with a longer arm action and clean release.
Defense: In the outfield attacks the ball with smooth rhythm and shorter steps. Stays under control throughout the fielding process and shows a feel for glove action. Fields the ball out in front of the glove side leg with good rhythm and transfers out of the glove.
