10/27/19

The 5-foot-10, 217-pound primary outfielder displayed a filled out frame with physicality and feel for his body. The right-handed hitter begins with a narrow, even stance utilizing a lift-and-replace stride to initiate his swing. Generated advanced bat speed in the zone with barrel whip through a slightly uphill path allowing for pull side carry and present pop. A strong lower half with some sink and hip shoulder separation yielded loud contact during batting practice as he registered an impressive 95 mph bat-exit velocity from the tee. Demonstrated advanced feel for the barrel with ability to extend with authority through the baseball. Recorded a 7.22 60-yard dash. Showcased adequate footwork creating advantageous routes allowing for accurate 81 mph throws through a fluid, high ¾ arm-slot.

4/28/19

A 5-foot-10, 217-pound frame. Offensively, the right-handed hitter uses physical frame and strength to generate plus bat speed. Slightly open setup, leg lift to load and start, hands stay in neutral position off the back shoulder with barrel flat. Max effort, middle to pull with occasional lift, 93 mph exit velo.  Runs a 7.45 60. Defensively, corner OF shows average glove and feet, short stride to throw, quick to spin. Throws sailed arm side from a high ¾ arm slot at 81 mph.

5/29/18
A durable 5-foot-9, 150-pound frame with strength. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from an athletic and balanced set-up with rhythm in his hands. Uses a small load and a moderate stride before launching his hands on a flat path through extension with advanced bat speed. In BP, shows a middle of the field to pull side, flat approach with big pop for his age, some barrels, 85 mph exit velocity. Defensively, shows active feet and good hands. Throws from a high ¾ slot with some accuracy, 68 mph across the diamond. On the mound, the right-hander works from a slightly up-tempo delivery with a short leg lift. Has quality leg drive down the mound. Arm action is full in the back before coming through a high-¾ slot with some arm speed. Fastball sits 72-74 mph with slight arm side run, some strikes. Curveball has 11/5 shape with rolling depth at 55-58 mph.
