Larry Edwards: OF, (2021) Metro Christian Academy, OK. 6-foot, 175-pound athletic frame. At the plate, Edwards best exit velocity was 83 mph, but showed much more power in the game. Started in an athletic stance with a small load, then used a controlled stride just before his swing. Had simple swing plane, explosive bat speed and high finish. In his round he found multiple barrels with a lot of loud contact. Up the middle approach. Above average from the outfield, he made throws to the infield at velocities up to 70 mph; has sure hands, athletic feet and a clean exchange. Showed his athleticism during the event with a sub-seven 60 time of 6.73.
Top 8 positionally in his class. A 6-foot, 170-pound athletic frame, Edwards certainly looks the part of a college outfielder. The right-handed hitter starts in a crouched, closed stance and utilizes a quick lift-and-replace stride to initiate his swing. Displayed lightning quick hands while being able to get on-plane with the baseball early in the hitting zone. Found consistent barrels during batting practice, registered an 80 mph bat-exit velocity. Recorded an impressive 6.75 60-yard dash time. Demonstrated fluid, athletic actions in the outfield with good reads on balls hit in front and behind. Feet played through the ball guiding accurate 72 mph throws from a short take-away towards the target.

A developing 5-foot-8, 140-pound frame. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from a quiet and back-leg heavy set-up. Uses a smooth load, sinking into his backside before launching his hands on a flat plane to contact with a high finish. In BP, shows a an all fields approach with lift, some barrels, 72 mph exit velo. Defensively, shows smooth and clean actions with a natural feel, takes an extra shuffle at times on the throw. Arm circle is moderate coming through a high-3/4 slot, 65 mph with some accuracy. In the game, went 0-for-3.

A 5-foot-10, 155-pound frame that has started to develop quickly, with lots of room to continue to add size and strength. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from a back leg heavy, knee-knocked set-up with slight rhythm throughout. Uses a slight leg kick and hand load before launching his hands on an uphill path with advanced bat speed. In BP, shows an opposite field and flat approach, finding almost all barrels, 85 mph exit velo. Runs a 6.9 second 60. Defensively, shows clean, confident, and athletic actions. Throws with a moderate arm stroke, coming through an over the top slot, 72 mph from the outfield.

A 6-foot, 165-pound lean frame with lots of room to add size and strength. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from an upright, open, and slightly narrow stance with rhythm in his hands. Uses a short and smooth load with a small hand pump and long stride before launching his hands on a slightly uphill path through extension. In BP, shows a middle to pull and flat approach with some bat speed, almost all barrels, 82 mph exit velo. Runs a 7.18 60. Defensively, shows clean, confident, and athletic actions coming through the ball well. Throws with a full arm stroke coming through an over the top slot with accuracy at 78 mph from the outfield.
