On the mound, the right-hander works from an up tempo delivery with some rhythm and a coiling leg kick before striding down the mound and spinning off slightly to the first base side. Arm action is long with a quick change of direction in the back before coming through a ¾ slot. Fastball ranges 75-80 mph with consistent and heavy arm-side run, mostly strikes. Slider shows 10/4 shapes with some late break and depth at 71-72 mph, mostly strikes. In the game, Lunsford punched out three of the five batters he faced.

On the mound, the right-hander works from an up-tempo delivery with rhythm using a high leg kick with a coil at the top before striding down the mound with quality leg drive, finishing to the first base side. Demonstrated feel for his hands while hitting into a stiff front side. Recorded a 7.51 60-yard dash. The primary third baseman displayed a low center of gravity arriving on time to the baseball with consistency. Showed average feel for plays on the run, with adequate transfers into a fluid, high ¾ arm-slot. Created momentum towards the target yielding accurate 81 mph arm-strength across the infield.
