Body: 6-foot, 190-pound athletic and strong frame.
Hit: RHH. At the plate starts with a neutral stance and athletic posture. Hands get set at shoulder height with a relaxed back elbow and lead arm. Strong weight stack onto backside and utilizes a short leg lift stride with good weight transfer linearly through the swing into a firm front side. Rotational bat path with a strong top hand. Slight uphill bat path and tries to work the ball up in the air. Hands work quickly through the zone. Shows some strength at contact.
Power: 91 mph exit velocity off the tee and 81 mph exit velocity in BP.
Arm: RH. INF-87 mph. High ¾ arm slot with short arm action and explosive hand speed.
Defense: In the infield attacks the ball with shorter steps and shows a feel for working around the ball with third baseman style rhythm. Fields the ball with a stiff glove and developing feel for glove action.
Run: 4.96 runner to first base.
Delivery: On the mound works exclusively out of the stretch. Shows the ability to get to high balance point as well as shows a slide-step. Slight sink into the backside leg at balance with some push off the rubber to a firm plant leg. Hands break early out of the glove with a slight stall out at the bottom of the arm swing. Strong rotation off the plant leg. Upright posture in the upper body throughout the motion. Begins in a crouched balanced stance with a small controlled load, then uses a toe tap to initiate his swing. Bat speed is above average, exhibits simple upward swing plane and a back foot finish. Produced some loud contact and found lots of barrels. Gap to gap approach. Solid while in the infield, made throws up to 84 mph; showed soft hands, a developing exchange and average feet. Used a high ¾ slot with a long arm action. Clocked a 60 time of 7.76 at the event. Athletic on the mound, showed good arm speed with a high ¾ arm angle and a long arm action. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows high effort. Showed even shoulders. Lands open with an upright finish. Sat with his fastball at 80-81 mph; showed tailing action and around the zone. Throws a 1/7 curveball (65-66) that has gradual action and some control.
