Reid Williams: 1B/LHP, (2022) Bishop Kelley, OK. 6-foot-1, 194-pound physical frame. At the plate, Williams 92 mph exit velocity showed his ability to drive the ball with power. Started in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled small load, then used a toe tap. Bat speed was above average, had upward swing plane and a back foot finish. He found multiple barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Smooth in the infield, recorded a position velocity of 80 mph; shows sure soft hands, a quick developing exchange and consistent developing feet. Showed a quick arm action and a ¾ slot. Showed off his speed at the event, running a swift 6.94 60-yard dash. Athletic on the mound, showed a ¾ arm angle and a long arm action with quick arm speed. Slow-tempo type pitcher who uses high effort. Lands square with a falling off finish. Changeup (74-75 mph).Threw his fastball 78-79 mph, had consistent command of the zone. Threw a 11/5 curveball (67-68) with around the zone command.

Displayed an advanced, physical 6-foot-1, 197-pound frame with athleticism. The left-handed hitter begins with a tall, even stance using a toe-tap stride and some hip drift to initiate a slightly uphill barrel path through the baseball. A strong lower half generates barrel whip into the hitting zone while sitting on the backside. Repeatable swings with a solid top-hand created lift to the pull-side gap with regularity. Generated a loud 90 mph bat-exit velocity off the tee with room for more. Recorded a 7.51 60-yard dash. The primary outfielder showcased fluid movements with advanced footwork, arriving to the ball on time and playing through it towards the target. A soft glove hand and smooth transfers allowed for accurate 82 mph arm-strength from his position with some carry to the target out of a high ¾ arm-slot.

A 6-foot-1, 192-pound athletic frame with some advanced strength throughout. On the mound, the left-hander works from a deliberate and smooth delivery before taking a long stride down the mound and finishing balanced. Arm action is long and controlled in the back before getting short and coming through an over the top slot with some arm speed. Fastball shows consistent and heavy cut at 77-79, mostly strikes. Chageup shows consistent fade at 71-73, mostly strikes. Curveball shows consistent 1/7 shape with late depth at 69-71 mph. In the game, Williams punched out 3 and did not allow a hit facing 6 batters.

Demonstrated a feel for a physical 6-foot-1, 192-pound frame with advanced strength and easy athleticism. The left-handed hitter featured a square stance with weight shaded towards the backside utilizing a controlled toe-tap to initiate his swing. Generated fluid, easy bat speed through the zone with present barrel whip. Showcased advanced barrel awareness  with feel for his hands evidenced by an 86 mph bat-exit velocity. Ran a 7.31 60-yard dash. The first baseman played low to the ground with advanced range and adequate footwork around the bag. A soft glove hand and smooth transfers allowed for accurate 72 mph throws across the diamond out of a fluid high ¾ arm-slot.

A  6-foot, 181-pound frame with some strength. On the mound, the left-hander works from a slightly up tempo delivery that he repeats well with rhythm and a high leg kick before driving down the mound and finishing balanced. Arm action has length in the back with a quick change of direction at the bottom of his arm stroke through a high-¾ slot. Fastball shows some downhill tilt at 72-74 mph, mostly strikes. Changeup is thrown with full arm speed with some fade and almost all strikes at 64-65 mph.

2/03/19

A 6-foot, 181-pound advanced frame with some strength. Offensively, the left-handed hitter bats from an even, wide, back leg heavy, and quiet set-up with a slight crouch. Uses a smooth load and heel raise stride before launching his hands on an uphill path with some strength. In BP, shows a mostly opposite field approach with some lift flashing occasional advanced pop to the pull side, mostly barrels and finished his round strong, 83 mph exit velo. Runs a 7.43 60. Defensively, shows clean, confident, and athletic actions around the bag with well above average hands and feet. Throws with a moderate arm stroke with coming through a high-¾ slot. Shows excellent accuracy at 76 mph on double play turns.

6/2/18
A 6-foot, 173-pound advanced frame with some strength throughout. Offensively, the left-handed hitter bats from a back leg heavy set-up with a slight crouch and rhythm in his hands. Uses a very small stride with a late heel plant for timing before launching his hands with bat speed and strength on a flat path to contact with a high finish. In BP, shows a middle to pull approach flashing big pop and some lift, found a few barrels, 80 mph exit velo. Runs a 7.46 second 60. Defensively, shows aggressive and athletic actions and getting rid of the ball quickly from a high-¾ slot  with a long arm stroke at 75 mph with excellent accuracy. On the mound, the left-hander works from an average tempo delivery with a moderate leg kick and long stride down the mound. Arm action has length in the back with a quick change of direction at the bottom of the arm stroke coming through an over the top slot. Fastball ranges 73-77 mph with some downhill tilt and some strikes. Curveball is still developing with 1/7 shape. Changeup has excellent fading action, thrown with full arm speed at 68-69 mph.
