Body: 6-foot, 145-pound lean and developing frame with room for added strength and size in the future.

Hit: RHH.  At the plate starts with a neutral stance and upright posture. Hands get set at shoulder height with a relaxed back elbow and slight arm bar of the lead arm.  Uses a short two-tap stride with linear movement with the lower half through the zone.  Works hard to get hands to the inside part of the ball and prefers to play the ball out in front of the plate.  Hands work quickly through the zone.  Bat speed and hand strength are still developing.

Power: 81 mph exit velocity off the tee and 83 mph exit velocity during BP.

Arm: RH.  C-74 mph.  Straight pull back on the arm with a slightly longer arm action and clean release.

Defense: Behind the plate prefers receiving the ball with one knee in the dirt.  Has quick hips and feet on blocking balls and gets into good blocking position.  Had pop times ranging from 2.08-2.10 with good carry and accuracy to the bag.  

Run: 4.56 runner to first base.


Zane Knell: C/OF, (2023) Bixby, OK. 5-foot-11, 135-pound slim frame. In the box, Knell recorded an exit velocity of 78 mph. Began in a tall stance with a small load, then used a controlled stride just before his swing. Bat speed was average, displayed flat swing plane and high finish. He found some barrels during his rounds. Line drive approach. Behind the plate, recorded a pop time of 2.08-2.20, throw downs to second were maxed at 71 mph; shows soft hands, a natural exchange and rhythmic feet. Narrow setup with tons of flexibility. Recorded an outfield position velocity of 77 mph; had a clean exchange, choppy footwork and firm hands. Decent accuracy to the bag, used a short arm action and an-over-the-top slot. Recorded a 60 time of 7.13 at the event.


A 5-foot-9, 125-pound slim frame; C/OF. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 68 mph. Starts in a balanced stance with a wrapping load, then uses a leg kick to initiate his swing. Has below average bat speed, as well as a level swing plane and a high finish. From the outfield, his best throws to the bases were registered at 72 mph. He made throws to second at velocities up to 69 mph for showcase pop times of 2.26-2.39. Showed a loose arm action and a high ¾ slot with consistent accuracy to the base. He clocked a time of 7.39 in the 60-yard dash.


Featured a lean 5-foot-9, 125-pound frame with long actions and room to add strength in a projectable, young body. The right-handed hitter begins from a balanced, even setup with rhythm in his hands prior to initiating his swing utilizing a short lift-and-replace stride. Sink into a long lower-half generated a flat barrel path through the baseball registering a 64 mph bat-exit velocity. Recorded a 7.34 60-yard dash that will only improve with added strength in his frame. The primary backstop showed average receiving skills with a semi-stiff glove hand at catch point. Demonstrated adequate straight line footwork and transfers yielding accurate 69 mph throws from the crouch. Displayed long, easy actions in the outfield arriving to the ball on time with regularity. A fluid, high ¾ arm-slot allowed for accurate 74 mph throws from his position.
