Savage is a large framed, physical catcher with a premium glove and power that is blooming into what you'd expect from the body. It's twitchy and strong behind the plate, Savage receives all pitches well but stood out in catch and throw. He consistently hovered around a 2.00 pop and had one of the stronger arms at the event at 80mph. Its a smooth, flat right handed stroke at the plate that generated loud line drives in BP but also flashed the ability to get into some baseballs also. As the frame continues to refine, expect to see Savage continue to improve on his 92mph exit velo, as he has made massive strides the last calendar year.
