2022 C/OF Connor Rodwin was one of the stronger players at the New Year Open at 6-foot-1, 210-pounds and should catch the eyes of junior college coaches in the North. Although it wasn't his best round of BP, he stands out with his physicality and bat speed from the right side. There's present power in there and he will only get better as he can tap into that more consistently. Top exit velocity of 88mph. Worked up to 82mph in the outfield and posted a 2.03 pop-time.
6-foot, 199-pound, 2022 grad, member of the Ontario Rockies. Behind the plate, he was in the 2.44-2.51 range during pop-times. He was up to 70 on throws. In the infield, he showed comfort. At the plate, it’s a compact right-handed swing; he was up to 78 off the tee. There’s some strength and pop. He was 65-67 on the mound, mixing in a changeup at 63, and curve at 60.
