6-foot-1, 170-pound outfielder whose arm also works on the mound. Now listed as 2020 grad, Armorer is athletic player with tools that will play up as gains more strength to his frame. Arm works clean, ball jumps out hand in the OF with velocity at 88 mph. Ran a 6.90 that plays defensively. At the plate, the swing mechanics are there with some feel, quick bat with exit velo of 88, simple approach with minimal moving parts, will surprise with some pop from the right side. Like the upside and as he gains more strength, don’t be surprised to see Armorer continue to develop and jump up the 2020 rankings.

A 6-foot-1, 170-pounds, a two-way player, Armorer has long legs and a wiry build and plenty of room to fill out as he continues to grow as a baseball player. Flashed some good speed to start his day off at the New Year Open, running a 6.97-second 60 with easy and athletic strides. Not a lot of moving parts to the swing, simple approach - loads on back foot with a slight leg kick. Swing still needs some tweaking, both to his lower and upper half, sometimes gets a little long, but Armorer shows some tools. Showed a live arm with quick action from the outfield, ball exploded out of his hands  with some zip at 88mph from a H¾ arm slot. On the bump, Armorer shows some promise with a loose arm and athletic actions. Fastball currently tops out at 82, but there is more velocity in the arm. Easy, low effort delivery, able to throw downhill with some effectiveness. Fastball shows good sinking action to his arm side. Also shows good feel for second half pitches, although his fastball is clearly Darius’ best tool on the mound. Overall, Armorer still requires minor adjustments, but he is projectable, has quick arm action and should continue to major and trend upwards.

Young 5-foot-11, 150-pound with lean frame. Added strength will help increase Armorer's numbers. Ran a 7.72 in his 60-yard dash. In the outfield, showed proper actions with arm that had some quickness to it. First throw had carry with little tail to it, others he seemed to slow down body which in turn did not get much carry, top velocity from outfield was 79 mph which for 2019 grad plays well for future readings. At the plate, hands load back and down, creates for long path to baseball with inconsistency with ability to repeat swing and find barrel. Some minor adjustments and ability to let athletic actions take over should help with Armorer in his development. Would like to see on mound with way arm works from outfield.
60-Yard Dash: 7.72
Exit Velocity: 76
OF Velocity: 79
