Kerr had a clean swing from the left side where he has a quiet load with low hands and some lift in his swing. The ball was jumping off his bat throughout his round of batting practice which was where he did his most damage on the day. The 5-foot-9, 145-pound left-hander worked with a fastball/slider combination on the mound and there was feel for the secondary stuff.
