2023 OF Noah Konings (Cloud County commit) had one of the more polished overall games in Dorchester last weekend. Stands firm at 6-foot, 180-pounds with a strong lower half. Collecting a standup double that carried for some opposite field power. A smooth swing from the right side with a simple load, fast hands and athletic movements in the field. A mature approach in the box that translates to quality at bats on a consistent basis. A live arm from the outfield that plays in live-game situations.
5-foot-6, 145-pound outfielder/left-handed pitcher, Konings is a 2022 outfielder for the Ontario Terriers. On the mound, it's a controlled, compact delivery, he works short outback and can repeat his release point. He sat 70-72 on this day. In the outfield, he works towards the ball fluidly, gains ground on a crow hop and is up to 74 on throws. At the plate, it's a contact-oriented approach, he looks to work middle-pull and was up to 74 off the tee.
