10/22/17 - Pagliero, now 5-foot-8, 155-pounds showed some athleticism to game as he ran a 7.38 sixty and arm speed from the outfield and on the mound. At the plate, starts from athletic stance and stays balanced through swing with some whip through the zone. Hands are back in good position to hit, can involve more lower half into swing, at times would cut himself off losing extension and finish. Picked it cleanly in the infield with some life in his lower half, moved well through the ball with arm speed out front and was 76 mph across the diamond. On the mound, Pagliero flashed potential with compact delivery and a loose, quick arm out of a 3/4 slot that had arm side run on his fastball at 79 mph and worked down in the zone for the most part. Changeup had fading action out the same slot as his fastball at 70 mph and the curveball would back up on his at times at 63-64 but did have spin which shows that there is something there. With added size and strength, should see his velo tick up over the winter and is an intriguing player to follow heading into 2018.

4/15/17
Pagliero is a 2019 grad listed at 5-foot-7, 145-pounds with room to add strength to frame. Arm was clean and quick form the outfield, smooth arm swing in the back with carry and life out the hand at 81 mph. At the plate, upright stance with small leg kick and hand separation. Does show hand speed to contact and was at best when he didn't cut himself off and got extended. On the mound, easy and controlled delivery, not much usage out of lower half, arm still clean with fastball command down in zone, changeup had fading action while the curveball had some feel but did back up at times. Really like the arm and the upside of Pagliero.
