6/18/14 Reed had a solid two days at the plate going 1-for-3 on day two and barreling the baseball with good rhythm to his swing from a square stance during batting practice. The right-handed hitter showcased a bat exit velocity of 81 mph and ran a 6.85 60-yard dash.

2/23/13 Reed showed a clean exchange and quick release on throws of 71 mph across the infield. Reed has quick feet as evidenced by his 4.13 home-to-first time. The 6-foot, 150-pound sophomore used a square stance and a short swing path to consistently barrel the baseball to all fields. With added time to mature and additional strength Reed could be a player to follow in this class.

1/13/13 Reed ran the 3rd fastest 60-yard dash of the day at 7.15 on a slow track. The 6-foot, 145-pound SS/OF showed good angles to the baseball and the ability to play through the baseball. He showed some carry on throws of 70 mph across the diamond. Reed showed well offensively utilizing a 79 mph bat exit velocity. He sprayed line drives consistently to all fields. As his body continues to fill out, and if he incorporates more hip turn to his swing, Reed could develop some gap power.
