2/14/15 Burman starts slightly open, strides to square and loads his hands deep. He attacks the baseball with an uphill path intended to create lift and shows an ability to barrel it up with some pop to all fields in BP. Defensively, Burman features solid feet and continually improving arm strength.

5/9/14 Burman is a medium-frame left-handed hitter. Square stance. Incorporates small toe-tap, but controls it well. Smooth stroke; took a number of good swings on the day, including a well-hit double to right-center.
2/15/14 Burman is a 6-foot, 185-pound left-handed hitter that has good rhythm to his swing and little wasted movement. He utilizes a square stance and a toe tap trigger with a high hands load. Burman barreled the baseball routinely and showed the ability to drive the baseball to all fields with an 84 mph bat exit velocity. Burman registered a 4.55 home-to-1B time and showed good footwork around the bag at 1B. The lefty displayed a 74 mph arm across the diamond and a soft glove hand.
9/22/13 Burman is a 5-foot-11, 185-pound left-handed hitter with a big upside. He showcased a square stance with good balance throughout his swing and solid extension. Burman barreled the baseball routinely in batting practice with a bat exit velocity of 76 mph. He also flashed a soft glove hand and good feet around the bag at 1B. Burman will be an interesting follow in this class with the potential to develop into a middle of the order left-handed hitter.
