6/18/14 Garban sat 82-83 while touching 85 mph out of a high 3/4 arm slot with a hip coil delivery. Garban works quickly and from the stretch. The 6-foot-1, 170-pound righty also flashed command of a 72 mph slider, a 69 mph 11/5 breaking curveball and a 74 mph changeup during his three innings of work which included three strikeouts.
5/9/14 Garban sat 80-82 while touching 84 mph out of a high 3/4 arm slot. The 6-foot1, 170-pound junior also commanded a 75-76 mph slider and a 11/5 breaking curveball at 70 mph. Garban gave up one run in 3+ innings of relief striking out one and walking none.
