10/3/15 6-foot-3, 190-pound primary third baseman sat 80-81 from a high 3/4 arm slot. The uncommitted senior has a projectable frame and a three-pitch mix that complements his fastball. Burris also displayed a 78 mph cutter, a 71 mph curveball with 11/5 rotation, and a 72 mph changeup. The curveball showed good down action while the changeup is thrown with near fastball arm speed with some late sink. 

10/3/15 6-foot-3, 190-pound uncommitted senior. Right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and initiates his swing with a leg-lift stride. Displayed the ability to use the middle of the field with a bat exit velocity of 83 mph. Flashed improved footwork (7.44 60-yard dash) and arm strength (83 mph) defensively. Solid range and fluid actions should allow Burris to man several infield positions at the next level.

2/15/15 Burris starts his delivery with a short rocker step into a waist-high leg lift and pitches from a high-3/4 slot with a javelin-thrower arm action and somewhat upright finish. His fastball is fairly straight, while his change-up is straight and firm as well. The 11/5 spin on his curveball was was fairly loose on this day, although it sharpened up a bit when he threw out of the stretch. Burris already has strength in his frame, but there is still room for him to add more.
