The 5-foot-11, 170-pound right-handed hitter showcased an 82 mph bat exit velocity and the ability to barrel baseball to all fields. Bethel flashed solid 82 mph arm strength and a skill set that will allow him to play multiple infield positions at the next level. The righty sat 80-83 on the bump with command of a a 70 mph curveball with 11/5 rotation.

1/16/16 5-foot-11, 170-pounde right-handed hitter displayed a solid feel for the barrel with a bat exit velocity of 82 mph. Bethel starts from a slightly open stance and uses a quiet heel-raise stride to initiate his swing. The junior creates some backspin with a solid lower half and his hands work well through contact. Bethel ran a 7.44 60-yard dash and displayed active feet and the ability to play the ball on the move with an accurate 82 mph arm across the diamond. A soft glove hand and the ability to make throws from multiple arm angles will allow Bethel to play multiple infield positions at the next level.
