6/14/17 Chance to be a premier defensive catcher. Solid 6-foot 180-pound build. Features a soft, strong glove hand when receiving. Quick feet and exchange, short arm action, upper and lower half work in sync. Throws are accurate with easy carry (75 mph arm strength from the crouch) while logging workout pop times of 2.00-2.08. Logged one in-game pop at 2.15 and impressively threw out a would-be basestealer from his knees on a pitch that rode down toward the left-handed batter's box; both throws were right on the bag. Right-handed hitter starts from an open stance and strides to square. Simple hand action in his load and took solid swings throughout game action. Ability to drive the baseball should come as his body physically matures. Posted 84 mph exit velocity and ran a 8.27 60-yard dash.

10/29/16 6-foot, 170-pound freshman displayed advanced abilities defensively. Showcased pop times of 2.06-2.16 on throws of 72 mph from the crouch. Demonstrated a clean transfer and short arm stroke with solid carry during defensive workouts. The right-handed hitter starts from a slightly open stance and initiates his swing with a leg-lift stride. Showed a good feel for the ability and the ability to create backspin with a bat exit velocity of 78 mph. A potential for power is likely through physical maturity and strength gains over the coming years.

8/18/16 6-foot, 175-pounder has yet to step on a high school campus, but definitely looked the part of an upperclassman with a solid frame. Defensivley the rising freshman displayed solid arm strength (72 mph) and pop times of 2.20-2.28 from the crouch. The right-handed hitter starts from a slightly open stance and utilizes a leg-lift stride to initiate his swing. Behmer flashed a solid feel for the barrel in batting practice with a 78 mph exit velocity. A solid all-around skill set with a frame that should continue to develop through maturity makes Behmer a prospect to watch in the class of 2020.
