8/8/17 - Solid Frame at 5-foot-9, 170-pounds. Hits from a slightly open athletic set up at the plate. Smooth rock back load with short "C" in hands to hitting position. Short, direct swing path at the plate with quick hands through the zone. Gets long on outer half wanting to pull. Middle in, hands worked well and were free. Like to see keep inside on outer half. Shows some strength with an 84 mph exit velocity. Sticks well behind the plate. Longer arm action from behind the dish with a quick release when he kept exchange in tact. Throws were at 72 mph from behind with a 2.11 best pop time.
6/13/17 5-foot-9, 160-pound catcher/outfielder showed solid abilities defensively at both positions.  Ran a 7.09 60-yard dash and took good routes to the baseball in the outfield.  Behind the dish he showcased 73 mph arm strength from the crouch and pop times of 2.13-2.19 with a quick release.  The right-handed hitter starts from an open stance and initiates his swing with a bat-waggle load and a leg-lift stride. Barreled the baseball consistently during an above average round of batting practice while going 2-for-7 with a double and a walk in game action.

2/12/17 5-foot-9, 160-pound right-handed hitter starts from a tall, slightly open stance and utilizes a bat waggle load and leg-hand stride to initiate his swing. Hands work short to and through the baseball and ball comes off well with a bat exit velocity of 83 mph. Ran a 7.24 60-yard dash and showcased pop times of 2.16-2.24 on throws of 70 mph from the crouch. Receives well from a wide base and displayed a short arm stroke with quick feet during his transition.

10/29/16 5-foot-9, 160-pound right-handed hitter starts from an open stance and initiates his swing with a bat-waggle load and a leg-lift stride. Put together a solid batting practice round repeatedly barreling baseballs to the pull side with a bat exit velocity of 81 mph. The junior ran a 7.01 60-yard dash and registered pop times of 2.31-2.32 on throws of 74 mph from the crouch. Displayed quick feet and a clean transition with a short arm throwing motion.

10/8/16 5-foot-9, 160-pound right-handed hitter took one of the top rounds of batting practice on the day. Starts from an open stance and uses a leg-lift stride to initiate his swing. Drops hands prior to load but displayed the ability to get his foot down and barrel to the hitting zone on time repeatedly with a bat exit velocity of 81 mph. Displayed sound defensive skills with quick feet, a clean transition and a top pop time of 2.28 on throws of 71 mph from the crouch. Showcased quiet actions in receiving the baseball and a soft wall for blocking. Ran a 7.20 60-yard dash on this date but has run a 7.06 previously.

6/10/16 5-foot-9, 160-pound primary right-handed hitter starts from an open stance and utilizes a leg lift stride with a high hands load to create a bat exit velocity of 78 mph. Hands work well inside the baseball with a consistent line drive approach. Left-handed swing lags behind his dominant side with a tendency to pull the bat head through the zone. Primary catcher displayed pop times of 2.25-2.35 on throws of 65 mph from the crouch consistently on the bag. Sophomore also showed athletic actions in the outfield with accurate 75 mph arm strength.
