Physical: 6-foot-2, 175 pounds; tall, long build with room for more weight.
Pitching: Sets up on the first base side, gets into a slow side step and leg lift into an explosive, high-effort, Tim Lincecum-esque release. Short take back, high effort, over the top release. FB: T 84MPH, 82-83 MPH. Plenty of life through the zone, arm side run. CB: 66-68 MPH. 12-6 shape, plays well when paired with FB up in zone.
6-foot-2, 175-pound right-hander sat 83-84 from a high 3/4 arm slot with hip coil to his delivery and a long, whippy arm action. Curveball showed late action with two plane break at 69-70. Changeup at 76-78 is thrown with excellent arm speed. Athletic, long frame is capable of holding additional strength in coming years which is likely to lead to additional velocity.
