Physical: Strong, imposing 6-foot-2, 210lb build with projection. 7.55 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Upright, loose-postured stance, as the hands showed plenty of rhythm. Utilized a leg-lift stride to initiate the swing through a flat, whippy path with some rotational parts. Worked into a stiff front-side, producing quality weight-transfer and a loud T97 mph exit velocity. Maintained feel for the barrel (75%) while driving the ball up to a 354 foot peak distance, towards the LCF gap.
Defensively: The first baseman featured a hop in the prep-step with range in either direction. Spread feet and an accurate glove-hand with ability to recover on the double-play rep. Delivered a 75 mph arm-strength across the dirt (H ¾).
Physical: 6-foot-2, 205 pounds; Average, proportional build. 7.5 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; has a pre-pitch bat waggle. Loads straight back with a leg hang for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing an aggressive lower half. Showed a direct swing path with a one-handed finish. More flyballs than line drives and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 97 MPH via Trackman. Strong upper half with twitch in the movements. Jumps on the inner half
Defensively: Starts with a low to the ground setup; walks into ready position while showing active feet. Hands are out in front with a clean transfer.
Physical: Large 6-foot-1, 202 pound-frame with strength throughout the actions. 7.90 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Balanced, even stance with the weight shifted slightly into a bent backside. Hands started at shoulder height with minimal rhythm; utilized a slight uphill attack angle through the hitting window yielding a short swing with plenty of bat speed at the plate (74.7 mph). Was a mainstay on all of our Blast Motion leaderboards with a huge 27.3 G’s of rotational acceleration (power ceiling) and an 88% on plane efficiency, pointing to solid bat-to-ball skills. Recorded a peak bat-exit velocity of 93 mph while flashing a middle of the field, balanced approach. A hitter to follow in the class.
Defensively: The first baseman played through a moderate center of gravity with developing feel around the bag. Soft glove hand approached off of the middle of his body with comfortability moving laterally; 73 mph arm strength across the diamond.
Pitching: RHP - Slow, methodical delivery with a pause at the side rocker step, medium leg lift above the belt line giving way to an aggressive pull-and-turn move across his body yielding some action towards the left side of the plate. FB ranged from 71-74 mph with low spin (1750+ average) mixing in a slow 57 mph breaker with short movement. Countered with a quality 64 mph CH that featured up to 18 inches of HM.
