Physical: Compact, lean 5-foot-9, 150lb frame with developing strength. 7.50 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Slightly-bent, even stance with the hands slotted at the shoulder to start. Utilized a lift and replace stride to initiate a direct, flat path into the hitting zone while working into a stiff front side at impact. Produced a strong 70% line drive rate (via Trackman) en route to a successful round of hard pull-side contact. Notched a T83 mph bat-exit velocity, staying inside the ball with good bat to ball skills (matched pitch plane) and found a 273 foot batted ball distance at his peak for occasional doubles power.
Defensively: The primary backstop sat comfortably in a traditional stance, receiving in the pocket with the glove hand. Pop times ranged from 2.18-2.33 with clean, directional footwork, staying in the glutes while driving off the backside leg. Finished throws well at a H ¾ slot, accurate on the bag (71 mph arm).
